Program

Change in an organization is inevitable. As Learning and Development professionals, we are poised to help usher in that change, whether as part of a change strategy or as change partners. How can you be ready to pivot and act when change comes your way? In this interactive panel session, we will explore Medtronic’s evolution from being a strict “SAP Shop” to being a fully integrated as Change Management, Training and Role Management team for all IT projects at Medtronic. You will learn about the successes and challenges that we faced during our evolution and how we collaborated with our “change people” and our “training people”. We will share pieces of our toolkit that we find vital in creating and implementing a solid Change Management Plan that includes the pivotal role of Learning and Development and Role Management.

After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the role that Learning and Development plays in a success change management plan.
  • Understand the successes and challenges in implementing a change strategy that includes Learning and Development.
  • Apply change management tools when implementing a change management plan.
